I think putting up sheetrock just isn't as exciting as building walls, or better yet, tearing them down LOL!!
But we have to make progress this weekend, as the days that my hubby will be available are numbered. He was going to have a week off, and got a call yesterday, they want him on site Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Then the following Monday he'll be on site during the week and coming home on the weekends. If we work hard the next two days, I can be taping and sanding while he's out of town. Hmmm - maybe that's why he took this job.
It's still staying unseasonably warm here in SD, makes me wonder what it's going to be like come February and March. I'm looking forward to the weather being warm enough to get to work on the siding again. I prefer to work with the vinyl when it’s up around 60, much easier that way.
I was really good yesterday, went to Cabala’s and DIDN'T buy the Benelli rifle that they had on clearance. Though the stock fits me nice, the distance between the pistol grip and the trigger is a bit longer than what fits my hands. I'd have to really stretch to reach the trigger.
So we're back to looking for a used Winchester, and if we have no luck with that, I'll have to consider a bolt action instead of an automatic.
Time for lunch and then time to get serious about hanging sheetrock. Hope to have a remodel update in the near future.
